X-Plane Flight Sim Will Be Oculus Rift Compatible

Laminar Research, creators of the X-Plane flight simulator, will support the Oculus Rift Virtual Reality Headset.

The Oculus Rift is a virtual reality immersive stereosocpic helmet made by Oculus VR. The company has sold some development kits and the customer version is expected sometimes in 2014.

The Oculus Rift version of X-Plane will work in 3D on Mac, Windows, and Linux without any additional drivers.

Spaceglasses 3D googles are Challenging Google Glass

Spaceglasses by META (Sharon, MA, USA) are the largest augmented reality optics in the world under $100,000, coupled to the most powerful wearable computer. Spaceglasses offer 3D holographic HD video with 40* field of view (15 times more than Google Glass), have a real-time 3D scanner on board and support over 500 applications that run directly on the device.

"Compared to the Meta Pro, Google Glass looks like a flimsy children’s toy" said Laptopmag. As everything comes at a price, the METAPro glasses will cost $3,650 but the developer edition "alpha test" dubbed META.01 is offered at $667.

Epson BT-200h Stereoscopic Smart Glasses

The Epson Moverio BT-200 glasses pictured here under includes a camera, stereoscopic display, and head motion tracking sensors. The device features dual transparent lenses and bears two small, LCD projectors. These projectors provide the equivalent of a 960 x 540 qHD resolution display. The Moverio BT-200 offers stereoscopic displays projecting transparent items over real-life objects in a 16:9 aspect ratio and 23-degree field of view. The motion tracking sensors will make navigation and gaming completely hands-free.
