Epson has released two ranges of active HD 3D stereoscopic home theatre projectors, one for family home viewing and the second for custom installers. The 480Hz Active Shutter system means no flicker and lower dark time for each eye looking through the active glasses.

Each range includes a model equipped with WirelessHD connectivity : no need for cable connections to Blu-ray players, game consoles or set top boxes.

Panasonic PT-AT5000 3D projector

Panasonic has today unveiled its first 3D projector, the PT-AT5000. With full HD3D resolution, contrast ratio of 300,000:1, a 200 Watts lamp and a 2,000 lumens output, the PT-AT5000 works with active glasses switched at 480 fprames/second. Cross-talk is thus particularly low.
