Stereopsia Workshop at the Cannes Festival on May 19, 2017
For the past five years, Stereopsia (formerly called 3D Stereo MEDIA) has chosen Festival de Cannes to launch its season via a 3D Cinema Workshop, held at an exclusive location near the Croisette. The workshop consists in a set of dynamic presentations and panels on a specific topic, followed by a networking reception. This year’s topic is "The 3D cinematic VR chain, from capture to distribution". The workshop is undoubtedly "the place to be" at Festival de Cannes for all things concerning 3D cinema & 3D cinematic VR, and, more generally, 3D immersion.
The half-day event will start at 10 am with a welcome address by Jim chabin from VR society followed by speeches and panel discussions with Jim Chabin (), Simon Craddock ( ), Philippe Reynaert ( ), Antoine Cayrol Sönke Kirschof Camille Lopato Sylvain Grain ( ) and Jacques Verly ( ).
