A new 3D lens adapter isborn at Kula (Reykjavík, Iceland) in the minds of Íris Ólafsdóttir, Stella Björgvinsdóttir, Birgir Birgisson, Ágúst Rafnsson, and Jón Arnar Tómasson (Did I say they are from Iceland?).
Kúla Deeper is a "3d lens" for DSLR cameras and Kúla Bebe is for smartphones. Both devices come with a software to convert 3D pictures and videos to almost any 3D format available. You can pre-order Kúla Deeper which is expected in April/May 2015 right now, with a 30% discount for a limited number of pre-orders ($105 instead of $150).

Vivitar offers low end 3D cameras

Vivitar introduced recently the ViviCam 790HD (99.99£ in UK) camcorder and the ViviCam T135 still camera (79.99£ in UK).
If you make your very first steps into the world of 3D and are not bothered by quality concerns, this may be a solution. But it may be wise to borrow one for a week before spending any money because both these nicely colored cameras take red/cyan anaglyph pictures and videos only; it is impossible to get separate left+right images pair with them....

LUMIX 3D1

Panasonic has now launched its own twin-lens 3D camera. The 3D1 shoots stereoscopic 3D stills and videos. However, its lack of 3D display is a minus as is its price of 449µ in the UK (specially if compared to the Fuji W3 you can have between 200 and 300£). The Lumix 3D1 should be available in December 2011.
