Avatar 3D disc set (no 3D yet!)
The three-disc “Extended Blu-ray Collector’s Edition” of “Avatar” (Fox) is released today (16 November 2010), beginning with a handsome glossy book-style package with unique slide-out drawers for each disc inside vibrant colorful pages.
Avatar-2 will be followed by Avatar-3
James Cameron announced today that he will make two more Avatar movies as follow-ups to the biggest blockbuster of all time. Cameron is writing the scripts for two Avatar sequels and plans to begin production on the first in 2011.
Cameron said the big change is that he wants to natively author the movie in a higher frame rate. He will do it at 48, 60, or 72 frames per second.
