A series of underwater dives shot by WildEarth.TV (South Africa) in 3D is being sold to broadcasters but plans for live daily stereo broadcasts have had to be downsized. Announced this spring, the underwater project by WildEarth is being marketed as a 3 x 60 minute series. It has been sold to broadcasters in France and Spain among others.
Shot on location in Egypt, South Africa and Mozambique, Dive:3D footage is also being reversioned into a two- or three-hour documentary series. However, initial plans for a live daily 3D dive aired on WildEarth 3D have fallen through. A further series of 13 underwater themed episodes featuring more locations and wrecks and another on water sports are planned. A series of 13 x 28 minute episodes of safari 3D is also being packaged for sale.
