Matterport has announced that it has secured $5 million to develop its 3D-capture technology. They are market leaders in technology that facilitates the building of digital representations of 3D spaces, a technology particularly applicable to the world of property, where potential investors can see a accurate model of a building’s interior, mimicking the vision and depth perception of the human eye as accurately as possible.

The new all-in-one Matterport's Pro2 3D Camera now comes with with print-ready photography, 4K 3D tours, 2D floor plans, and immersive virtual reality. Video presentation here under.

Projects such as  SeaWorld's "Orca 360", and The New York Times Daily 360 "Underwater Sculptures" are shot with VIRTUL (San Diego, CA, USA) cameras.  The VRTUL 1 and VRTUL 2 cameras are the only underwater VR solutions capable of recording in native stereoscopic 3D, ProRes, 12-bit DNG RAW, and 360 live streaming to Facebook for special events.

LucidCam is a cheap and compact, lightweight stereoscopic 3D VR camera : $499, 227 grams (8 ounces). The unit sports two front-facing fisheye lenses and gives you a 180-degree spherical 3D visual field of view for each lens.
