Sky Deutschland has inked a multi-year output deal with leading German producer-distrib Constantin Film for Germany and Austria. The pact includes exclusive first-run pay TV rights for such upcoming productions as ''Resident Evil: Retribution,'' ''The Mortal Instruments'' and ''3096,'' the fact-based story of the kidnapping of Natascha Kampusch, as well as recent pics like ''Vicky and the Treasure of the Gods 3D'' and ''The Three Musketeers''.

Blue Hemisphere 3D announced this month their entry into the 2D to 3D conversion and distribution market, under the brand Blue Lightning 3D. They are acquiring 2D films to be converted in-house, then will release 3D titles focused in the Action, Science Fiction, and Horror genres.

Comic-Con was the proof that fans of ridiculously scary video games are no doubt counting down the days until the release of Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. The movie sneaks into theatres on October 26th, 2012 in glorious stereoscopic 3D format, just in time for Halloween. The second in the trilogy, this film was shot with 3D in mind, promising even more in-your-face horror than the first movie. A reporter was at Comic-Con to get a sneak peek at the action... Since 2009, Air Racers 3D has been in production at the Reno National Championship Air Races. 

Air Racers 3D is a co-production of 3D Entertainment USA & Pretend Entertainment in association with Stereoscope and is distributed by 3D Entertainment Distribution. It will have a staggered release in worldwide IMAX Theaters and 3D Digital Cinemas over the next three years. Advanced screenings have taken place internationally and it has opened at museum IMAX screens in Huntsville, AL, Pensacola, FL, Columbus, GA, and Hutchinson, KS. More theater launches are continually being announced, including European locations.
