The average panel size for TV applications is expected to grow to 36.5-inch in 2012 from 35.5-inch in 2011, AUO estimated. Having started rolling of OGS (one glass solution) touch panels in the fourth quarter of 2011, AUO expects its shipments of OGS products to grow substantially in 2012, since a number of clients have adopted the solution for mass-production of notebooks and tablet PCs, the company said.

AUO provides two kind of autostereoscopic panels : parallax barrier (for small displays), and lenticular lenses (for larger displays).
