3D at Siggraph 2010

Siggraph 2010 is held in Los Angeles, USA from 25 to 29 July 2010. Lots of stereoscopic topics are covered. We recommand the Syunday 25 afternoon session about "Avatar in depth" with speakers from Weta Digital, and the Monday 26 14:00 session about "Making Avatar" with Joe Letteri explaining how Weta Digital developed innovations that enabled the director and actors to work as if they were in a conventional live-action movie, even when filming sequences that were entirely computer-generated.
