We Are The World 3D
"We Are The World 25 For Haiti" did its 3D debut during halftime of the in-theater broadcast of each of the 2010 NCAA Men's Final Four semifinal games and national championship game in April.
Action 3D captured the whole production of the song and happenings to bring it to you as if you were there. Action 3D is a live events shooting specialist, and shoots events in true 3D and employs both parallel rigs and for close-ups, beam splitter or mirror rigs. Their fast production time is also a plus for putting DVDs on the stores shelves as fast as possible.
Hologlyphics
The Hologlyphic Funkalizer is a performance based video synthesis system, that displays moving true 3D images, intertwined with music and spatial sound (more below). It will be one of the leading attractions at the Stereo Sound and Sight, a night of independent stereoscopic productions, featuring several innovative alternative stereoscopic techniques plus live music in San Francisco, USA on 24 April 2010.

Live 3D Rugby in French cinemas
On 20 March 2010, the Six Nations Rugby match at Stade de France in Paris was transmitted in 3D to 28 french cinemas. Stereoscopic work was done by the Spanish company D4D with a rig patented by Universty of Zaragoza.
Live 3D surgery transmitted to Belgian cinema
On Thursday 18 March 2010, we had the first live HD-3D transmission of a neurosurgical operation to a Belgian cinema.
