The Blackpool Tower Eye opens in 4D

The Blackpool tower (UK) will open a new 4D attraction called "The Blackpool Tower Eye" at the very top of the tower.

The four-minute film takes the audience on an aerial journey over Blackpool and surrounding regions in the company of a young boy. It was produced by Sharp Cookies and commissioned by Merlin Entertainments as part of a major regeneration project for Blackpool seafront which opens on 1 September 2011.

The "Eye" : Merlin Entertainments Group revealed they would be introducing new attractions to the tower; the Blackpool Dungeon and the Blackpool Eye. SharpCookies is producing the "Eye" attraction.
