DREDD 3D, a Success for The Post Republic and Nucoda
According to the Digital Vision Press Release we received today, Digital Vision has announced that Berlin-based post production facility The Post Republic has graded DNA Films' sci-fi thriller Dredd 3D (a remake of the classic Judge Dredd), using Film Master, the 3D-enabled version of the known Grading and finishing tool from Nucoda. Written by Alex Garland the film, which opened in the UK last week, immediately took the number one weekend box office slot.

Dredd 3D's success may be followed on BoxOfficeMojo. Dredd 3D was shot in Johannesburg, south Africa; the stereoscpoic 3D movie is distributed by Lionsgate and grossed around 10M$ in its first week in the US, plus the same on foreign markets.
