Raaz 3 in 3D Released on September 7, 2012

RAAZ 3 is the next stereoscopic 3D offering from Fox Star Studios and Vishesh Film (India). Directed by Vikram Bhatt, its the third movie from the most successful horror franchise of India cinema `RAAZ'.

Plot

Staring Emraan Hashmi, Bipasha Basu and Esha Gupta, the movie is set against the backdrop of the glitz, lights, glamour and back-stabbing cruelty of the entertainment world; a fading movie diva Shanaya (Bipasha Basu) turns to Black Magic to thwart an upstart young starlet Sanjana (Esha Gupta) on her way to usurp the position Shanaya once held. Sanjana ruthlessly turns against the girl, using her lover Aditya (Emraan Hashmi), a man who owes her his career, as a pawn. Things go awry when Aditya falls in love with the Sanjana despite himself and avows to protect her against the evil that is consuming all of them.

Based on Ameesha Patel's life or not?

Recently we have seen Ameesha Patel''s name being dragged into the promotional campaign of Raaz 3. While it has been made to believe that the film is based on her real life story with the film director Vikram Bhatt, it has been hinted that Bipasha Basu (seen here above) is actually reprising the role of another has-been heroine who faded away in the early 80s. This ex-actress was rumoured to be indulging in black magic. Since 'jaadu tona' (Horror movie) also happens to be the theme of Raaz 3 with Bipasha enacting the role of a fading superstar, one has all the right reasons to be suspicious. Of course, Vikram Bhatt didn't confirm the rumors...
