BAIT 3D

Bait 3D coming to Blu-ray September 18, 2012. Bait 3D is an Australian 3D stereoscopic shocker with a limited release planned for September 9, 2012 in the US (one week only before the Blu-ray 3D sales start !).

Bait 3Dis about a freak Tsunami that hits a beach community and floods the town. Unfortunately, the floods brings a nasty shark that terrorizes people hiding in a flooded grocery store.

The Plot

In a sleepy beach community shoppers at an underground supermarket are terrorized by a crazed bandit when the unimaginable occurs: A monstrous freak tsunami swallows the town. Now trapped, with rushing water threatening to entomb them in a watery grave, the survivors discover they are not alone. The tsunami has brought unwanted visitors from the depths. Not only must they overcome the threat of drowning and the predator within their midst, but a threat far more deadly and far more bloodthirsty - packs of hungry tiger sharks.

The Tech Bits

The film was shot in native stereoscopic 3D with the 3Ality Technica Quasar 3D Rig, the Red One MX, and Panavision Primo and PCZ Lenses. Lots of green screens were involved.

Xavier Samuel (Twilight: Eclipse, The Loved Ones), Julian McMahon (Red, Fantastic Four, Faces in the Crowd), Sharni Vinson (Step Up 3D, Blue Crush 2), Phoebe Tonkin (Tomorrow When the War Began), Martin Sacks, Alice Parkinson (Sanctum), Alexander Russell (Wasted on the Young), Qi Yuwu, Adrian Pang, Lincoln Lewis, and Damien Garvey star in the film directed by Kimble Rendall.
