The Adventures of Tintin by Steven Spielberg
The Adventures of Tintin is a 3D animated movie directed by Steven Spielberg and Starring Jamie Bell, Andy Serkis, Daniel Craig, Simon Pegg, and others. The actors are providing voice, gestures and movements to the animated character through a very accurate motion capture system. The look is new as the cartoon characters are more realistic than usual; all previews proved that performance capture did a large step forward in terms of realism and visual sophistication.
The Adventures of Tintin with its dizzying spectacle and fast action seems to be promised a very bright success at the box-office and is expected to be as strong in Europe as it should be in the USA. To watch the exclusive trailer, follow link here under. Release date : 26 October 2011.

Vicky and the Treasure of the Gods
Vicky and the Treasure of the Gods was released end of September in Germany in stereoscopic 3D (original German title : Wickie auf großer Fahrt).
The stereographer in charge was Florian Maier from Stereotec, a guy who nows when and why 3D work: in shots where a 2D director would use multiple angles and many cuts, Maier choreographed a single fluid crane movement that took in wide, medium, close up, and reverse shots in what he describes as 'a more normal way of looking at the scene'.
