3DS Shooting in 3D Now
The Nintendo (Japan) 3DS console is now able to shoot 3D videos, thanks to its new firmware. You can record stop-motion animation, so it is time to unearth your old LEGO characters and start your first stop motion movie! For live shooting, don't expect to record your friends' weddings in a single 3D long take: video recording will stop after ten minutes. The new update has other benefits; it brings updates of several games such as Find Mii.
Almost immediately, Masuji Suto a.k.a. Muttyan, the known author of StereoMovieMaker, updated his software to support the 3DS format (480x240 pixels, 20 frmaes per second).
Read the full update description by Nintendo on their official web site (including a 3DS originated stop-motion video sample). Several users already tried the 3D recording feature as you can see here under:
Nintendo also released Mario Kart 7 in 3D as you can see in the video presentation by Nintendo here under.
