Panasonic affordable 3D camcorder unveiled
Panasonic is planning a more affordable stereoscopic 3D camcorderat a mysterious July 28th Tokyo unveiling. It's called the HDC-SDT750, and is advertised as the "World's first 3D Shooting Camcorder."
New info leaked about the HDC-SDT750:
- 3D recording mode = side-by-side 960x1080 + 960x1080
- Records at 17Mbps MP4 at 24 fps and 30fps
- stereo base = +/- 35 mm, Wide angle lens is 58 mm
- The SDT750 will go on sale in October. UK pricing was not available but it is expected to be priced at $1,399 (£908) in the US.
The surprising revelation is that the product may not be a brand-new camcorder, but rather an existing high-end 3MOS model (the HDC-HS700 ???) with a "3D conversion lens" attached.
