LMP Cerberus Camera Ideal for 3D

. Posted in 3D Cameras, 3D Rigs, 3D shooting

LuxMediaPlan (Wiesbaden, Germany) presented at IBC its brand new CERBERUS CMOS head with global shutter and frame rates up to 240fps, and the CERBERUS CCD head with an unseen CCD sensor with global shutter, an essential advantage for cameras mounted on stereoscopic 3D rigs.

The Cerberus CCD camera head features a 2/3" sensor with global shutter and a resolution of 2,004 x 1,144 pixels allowing for 16:9 1080p video at 60 frames/second. At nominal gain, the camera offers a sensibility of F8 / 2000 lux with 56 dB of Signal-to-Noise ratio.

Combining an outstanding number of simultaneous live outputs, such as RAW, HDSDI, and analog component with the familiar LMP camera control workflow, the CERBERUS system perfectly adapts to your specific needs including parallel or mirror rig use.

LMP Converters and Processors

To supplement their camera range, LuxMediaPlan showcased an always increased range of converters and helpful gadgets, including a Universal Color Corrector (HD UCC), the improved 3D Video Processor called Multi-X 3D, and a new fiber optic transmission system (HD F-112) for in- and outside broadcast events. We announced the Multi-X 3D launch last week in StereoscopyNews.
