Panasonic Z10000 Hi-end 3D Camcorder

Panasonic today announced the first 3D high-end camcorder to use the AVCHD Progressive video format (at least in 2D mode). The dual-tr-CCD (thus six-sensor) Panasonic HDC-Z10000 offers 1080i-60, 1080p-24, and 1080p30 formats in 3D (plus 1080p-60 in 2D) , full manual convergence, focus and iris controls. XLR audio inputs are available (clearly visible on the picture here under).

The CMOS sensors are triple 1/4.1-inch CCDs. The twinned zooms are offer F1.5, 12X-optical-zoom lenses (32mm to 384mm) with excellent macro capabilities in wide angle with the closest focus point at 45 cm (18 inches). The 3.5 inch display offers glasses-free 3D with 1.15 Mpixels resolution. Two memory card slots (SDHC or SDXC) are used in tandem, the second card used onlywhen the first one is full.
