The ste-fra LANC_CanonXF by Digi-Dat (Germany) is a 3D stereoscopic LANC remote control specially developed for the CanonXF series (XF100, XF105, XF300, XF305). This remote is perfect for stereoscopic parallel or mirror rigs and can even control each camera individually. For example it is possible to use the cameras lens shift to align the images or setup the correct orientation for a mirror rig (by mirroring or flipping the image). Price of the remote : 749€ or a bit under 1100 $.

Professional quality images may be shot with a pair of Canon XF-105 mounted on a side-by-side rig such as the 349$ Ikan ELE-SB2-DK from G&G Technologies (Saddle Brook, USA) illustrated here under and the Ste-fra remote to insure the perfect synchronisation between both cameras.

With a pair of Canon XF-105 at 3,399 $ (at SimplyElectronics, USA), the total cost of a full pro-quality parallel rig is around 8200$, more or less half the price of a Panasonic AG3D1A....
