GefenPRO sends 3D over HDMI, IR, RS232 and power through a single cable

Connectivity provider Gefen announces the availability of its second generation Extra Long Range (ELR) Extender for HDMI using Power over Line (POL) technology. With the built-in IR Blaster, simply point the IR remote at the display to control the Hi-Def sources as if they were located in the same room as the display. Price : 1499 $ The GefenPRO ELR Extender sends 3DTV , plus Infrared and RS-232 backchannels, Ethernet and 2A/5 Volts power up to 330-feet (100m) using just one CAT-5 cable. Both the IR backchannel and RS-232 connection on the receiver unit can be used to control the display from the remote location.
