Qtake HD integrates Technica 3D hand controller

Horizontal image translation (also called digital convergence) in Qtake HD 3D is possible via the Technica 3D Hand Controller (THC).

Using Element Technica's proprietary protocols for their handsets, engineers from the two companies were able to set horizontal image translation in Qtake HD which will retain that data and play back the convergence information in real time. The data can be exported to post production or embedded in the file on RED cameras. The data can be exported via microSD or serial data, or in the embedded files from RED cameras.
