"3D Stereoscopico - Guida Professionale Per Cinema, TV, New Media" has been published in Italian in 2012 by Edizioni FAG Milano.
The book describes in detail the techniques and technologies used in stereoscopic 3D. It is divided into two parts, the first covers the basics and includes an introduction to 3D , vision and shooting support, and projection, the second part is purely practical and deals with directing and filming in 3D Stereo, 3D editing, 3D compositing, CGI and the 3D workflow.
Pre-order The Croods Blu-ray 3D

The Visual Estimation and Relative Tracking for Inspection of Generic Objects (VERTIGO) study, a part of the Synchronized Position, Hold, Engage and Reorient Experimental Satellites (SPHERES) investigation explores the use of small satellites equipped to analyze and capture data from specified objects, producing a 3D model of those objects.
The VERTIGO goggles weight 1.6 kilogram and include one 1.2 gigahertz data processor, camera, Wi-Fi device and batteries plus a 128 GB on-board memory.
Bait 3D Blu-ray Released
